Every girl is becoming someone.

The question is: who?

Every day, girls are making decisions that shape how they see themselves, who they become, and the direction of their future.

The friendships they choose.
The beliefs they accept.
The standards they set.
The opportunities they pursue.
The way they respond to challenges.

Those decisions don’t happen in isolation—they’re influenced by a girl’s confidence, her values, and her understanding of who she is.

That’s why the Becoming Experience exists.

The Becoming Experience is a two-day personal development experience designed for girls ages 11–14, that takes place on Saturday, July 25 · 9 AM–4 PM & Sunday, July 26 · 1 PM–4 PM near Willow Lawn area.

This experience helps participants:

  • strengthen their sense of self
  • define what they stand for, and
  • develop a framework for making intentional decisions as they navigate adolescence.

Through guided reflection, engaging activities, meaningful discussions, and mentorship, girls leave with greater confidence, clearer personal values, stronger decision-making skills, and a vision for the future they’re creating.

This Experience Is Designed for Parents Who Want Their Daughters to…

  • Know who they are and stay true to themselves—even when it’s difficult.
  • Make thoughtful decisions instead of simply following the crowd or giving in to peer pressure.
  • Choose healthy friendships that encourage their growth, support their goals, and reflect their values.
  • Believe in themselves, recognize their strengths, and pursue opportunities with confidence.
  • Set healthy standards for how they expect to be treated and have the courage to uphold them.
  • Approach challenges with resilience, confidence, and a belief in their ability to grow.
  • Create a meaningful vision for their future and begin making decisions that support the life they want to build.

If these are the qualities you hope your daughter develops as she grows, the Becoming Experience was designed with girls like her in mind.

Every Girl Hears She’s Unique.

Few Can Explain Why.

Self-esteem isn’t built by what a girl is told. It’s built by what she knows to be true about herself.

A girl who can’t explain what makes her unique, what she stands for, or what she’s capable of, will eventually look somewhere else for those answers.

That’s why the Becoming Experience isn’t about giving girls confidence. It’s about helping them discover the foundation confidence is built on.

Because when a girl understands who she is and why she matters, she’s far less likely to let someone else define her worth.

Inside the Becoming Experience

Saturday, July 25 · 9 AM–4 PM & Sunday, July 26 · 1 PM–4 PM

At the heart of the Becoming Experience is our Inner Compass Method—Girls Like Me’s signature framework for helping girls build the self-understanding needed to make intentional decisions. Throughout the weekend, girls begin building their Inner Compass by exploring four essential areas…

Identity

Girls discover what makes them uniquely them—building the self-understanding to answer one of life’s most important questions: Who am I?

Values

Girls identify the beliefs and principles that matter most to them, creating a foundation they can return to when faced with difficult decisions or outside pressure.

Standards

Girls establish personal standards that shape what they accept, what they pursue, and how they choose to show up in their friendships, relationships, and everyday life.

Vision

Girls develop a meaningful vision for the future they want to create, learning how today’s choices influence tomorrow’s opportunities.

Two Days She’ll Never Forget

Throughout the weekend, your daughter will laugh through interactive challenges, wrestle with thought-provoking questions, exchange ideas with other girls, express herself through creative activities, reflect on what matters most to her, and leave with practical tools she can continue using long after the experience ends.

Discuss

Real-life situations, thought-provoking questions, and different perspectives that encourage girls to think critically, share openly, and learn from one another.

Collaborate

With partners and small groups through interactive challenges, team activities, and shared experiences that build communication, confidence, and connection.

Create

Personal projects, future plans, and meaningful takeaways that reflect their own ideas, goals, and growth throughout the weekend.

Reflect

Through guided journaling and self-discovery activities that help girls process their thoughts, recognize their strengths, and better understand themselves.

Practice

Applying what they’re learning through engaging scenarios and decision-making experiences that connect the weekend to everyday life.

Connect

With mentors and peers in a welcoming environment where girls are encouraged, celebrated, and reminded they don’t have to navigate their worlds alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the Becoming Experience for?

Becoming is for girls ages 11–14 who may be:

  • unsure how to describe who they are beyond what they like or do
  • looking to friends or others for cues about what to think, choose, or value
  • starting to question where they fit in or compare themselves to others
  • becoming more independent and making more choices for themselves
  • talking about big dreams but unsure how to turn them into real goals

She does not need to be struggling to benefit. Becoming is designed for the years when girls are naturally beginning to figure out who they are, what matters to them, and who they want to become.

Does my daughter need to attend both days?

Becoming is designed as one complete experience, with each part building on what comes before it. Attending both days allows her to experience the program in full, so partial registration is not available and refunds cannot be issued once the experience begins.

Do parents stay during the experience?

No. The weekend gives girls their own space to connect, participate, and discover. Families will join us for the Family Send-Off Celebration.

What if my daughter is shy or does not know anyone?

That is completely okay—and she likely will not be the only one. We ease girls into the weekend with a mix of individual, partner, small-group, and full-group experiences, giving them time and different ways to get comfortable, connect, and participate.

What are the dates and times for the Becoming Experience?

The Becoming Experience takes place Saturday, July 25 from 9 AM–4 PM and Sunday, July 26 from 1–4 PM.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Registrations may be canceled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund. After 48 hours, all registrations are nonrefundable.

Where will the Becoming Experience take place?

The Becoming Experience will take place in the Willow Lawn area. For the safety and privacy of our girls, the exact location is shared only with registered families.

Can you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Yes. We provide food options that consider common food allergies and dietary restrictions. Families can share their daughter’s specific needs during registration so we can plan accordingly.
